The desired candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the following:

1. Receive and prepare samples from DRP production every 2 hours (during start up every hour) to control the Quality in DRP

2. Prepare samples from oxide charge, DRI charge to furnace, lime deliveries, Ferro alloys, carbon injection, refractory's, slag etc for chemical analysis by chemists

3. Carry out screen test on DRI, oxide and raw materials to check compliance to ESI specification

4. Carry out tumble test, bulk density, moisture, compression test and screen test on each oxide shipments to check the compliance with ESI specification

5. Carryout daily cleaning and maintenance on jaw crushers, ball mill, screen shaker etc to ensure the availability of machines 24 x 7 for DRP

6. Record and report problems faced, break down or damages, spares & consumables required to his superior to ensure smooth functioning of sample preparation machines

Also, undergraduate or diploma in chemistry or chemical engineering is a must.

1. Monitor daily activities of mechanical / Metalurgical testing laboratories

3. Maintain equipment in working condition to make available 24 hrs ensure timely reporting of results to Rolling Mills
4. Arrange and order required consumable Spaces for smooth operation of laboratories
5. Record and report problems faced, break down or damages, spares and, consumables required to his superior to ensure smooth functioning of testing activities
6. Develop and update ISO documents to comply with the company policy



Also, undergraduate or diploma in chemistry or chemical engineering is a must.

4. Carry out non routine tests for samples from mills, QC. To enable inspector to make decision on held bundles

5. Preserve the samples in case of any lap opening in bend test, bad steel and similar problems for inspection by Dept. Manager to take corrective measures

6. Carryout routine Maintenance on testing and measuring equipment
